March 2026
Dear Members and Friends of WSPCA,
Welcome to March! We wanted to share a few quick updates with you.
Crime Prevention Thursday
Please join us Thursday, March 19, 2026, 11am Pacific Time, as we hear from The Washington State Department of Financial Institutions (DFI). Adam Yeaton works in DFI’s Securities Division, which (broadly speaking) regulates investments in Washington. Although Adam's office only has civil/administrative authority, they often make referrals and work with police and prosecutors on cases where they believe criminal charges are warranted. One of their projects this year is outreach to law enforcement to figure out where they can be helpful. Also presenting will be James Brusslback, an attorney in the Consumer Services Division Enforcement Unit. To register for this and future Crime Prevention Thursday sessions, please register here.
Memberships and Dues
Thank you to those individuals that have renewed their memberships for 2026. If you have yet to do so, please renew as soon as you are able. Your membership helps keep the Association’s lights on. As a reminder, two of the benefits you receive as a member are:
1. Access to the members only section of our website, which grants you access to a library of crime prevention videos and materials.
2. A 15% discount on all training courses and conferences.
Organizational Memberships Are Back!
Because so many of you requested it, we once again offer organizational memberships. This means for one flat rate, everyone in your organization receives the member benefits listed above.
Payments For Membership
We are close to having a resolution to our online payment challenges. In the meantime, to renew your individual membership or register your organization for an organizational membership, please email us at info@wscpa.net. If you need an invoice generated, we can do that. You can pay by physical check, or we can take your credit card payment over the phone. If you want to pay by phone, call me at 206-679-1162. Once the transaction is processed, you will receive a receipt via email letting you know your payment was received. We do not retain your credit card information.
Currently, Individual memberships are $35 annually and Organizational memberships are $199 annually.
